the Story
I started this site because I needed to put everything I have accomplished in one place- and what better way than a website.
Born and raised in two different countries, I am proud to be associated with a profession that now crosses continents.
I am often asked “Why on earth do you write/edit? Shouldn’t you get an actual job?”
(🙄)
As long as I can remember, I have been curious about unconnected things: psychology, entrepreneurship, influencers, finance, books, animal instincts, home gadgets, tech and writing to name just a few. After completing a stint at one of the prestigious Big 4 firms, I gave up the security of the 9-5 and started ghostwriting.
Yup- I too did the formidable!
This was the first step out of my comfort-zone. I wrote recipes, reviews, website copy, social media copy and managed social accounts.
During this time I also started a clothing line for women and a meet-up for influencers. Both my start-ups failed though and left me with a ton of learning, networks and a perspective a 9-5 would have never given me. I was sucked in to the start-up life! These experiences also brought my disconnected interests in one place.
And it finally occurred to me- I could change the world one write-up at a time.
I believe in giving a 100% to whatever I am doing.
So far this has been the biggest defining factor in my journey.
It is also something I have full control over.
So I went back to the drawing board, started reading about content of all kind, took courses and refined my technique.
Next came web and book editing. A full throttle approach, a communicative style and lots of hard work led to wins.
But it does not stop here…
Content marketing helped me meet people and see the world through a different lens, a lens I could change anytime I wanted.
I created content for business, finance, real estate and blockchain.
Some of it was bylined, some it was thought leadership written in ghost-mode.
I continue to evolve and learn each day, teasing new ideas, expanding my reach and exploring what it means to be fully creative.
And this bring me to you!
Yes, you behind the screen reading this intently.
I believe you and me are alike- we are on a mission to create.
